Creating your Account in CengageBrain

  1. Launch your Browser and go to the URL: login.cengage.com

    1. Click the New Student User link.

    2. For your Office 2007 Introductory account, enter the following Access Code:
      ELPPPWWKPPN9FL

    3. On the next page, complete the information requested on the form.
      1. Use a valid email address and choose a password (note the requirements).

      2. Be sure to select a Security question and answer that you will remember for in case you forget your password. This is YOUR account, and I cannot retreive your password.

      3. Leave the age verification checked. You can click off the check box about receiving discounts and promotions.

    4. Read through the Terms and Conditions and click I Agree, then click Continue.

  2. The course should appear .  Click on Open

    1. You should now have access to the Interactive eBook, along with a link to the Student Companion Site. Click Open to access the eBook content..

    2. Click in the left pane to close the first chapter, which is not included in your course.

    3. Click the plus sign in the left pane next to Chapter 1: Creating and Editing a Word Document. to view the chapter sections. Click on the Chapter Overview link to begin.


  3. Now click this link to the Chapter 1 Assigments page.

    The first thing you will need to do is to download the student files.
