Tutorial 6 -
Lighting and Rendering a Daylight Scene

In this lesson, you will begin learning about lighting and rendering your scenes.
READ thru the instructions below to see about the saving requirements.

lighting-day Click the link at the right and extract the lighting-day folder, putting your lastname at the front.

Working with Lighting and Rendering

1. From the Help menu Tutorials, open the Lighting and Rendering folder and then the tutorial Lighting and Rendering a Daylight Scene.
   
   
2. Open the file indicated in the first tutorial in the list.
   
   
3. Follow the instructions for the tutorials, continuing by using your file in tthe second section.
   
   
4. Save at the end of the first section, even though the tutorial does not direct you to do so - use the filename Lastname army_compound_lighting_day.max, and placing it in your lighting-day folder.
   
   
5. In the second tutorial, begin with the file you saved.
   
   
6. Continue through the second tutorial. When you are done, save again, adding _done at the end of the filename.
   
   
7. Zip the entire folder - with the two saved files and all the bitmap images.
   

Place a copy of your lighting-day zipped folder in the CompAnim Dropbox.
